Titus has a multidisciplinary commercial and tax practice, including corporate transactions and corporate counseling, fiduciary services, estate planning and probate administration. His commercial practice includes representing companies in all phases of corporate practice such as corporate organization and governance, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, divestitures, joint ventures, tax planning and compliance, private equity financing and related reporting requirements, and e-commerce related agreements and contracts. His fiduciary services include representing individuals, corporate (banks), trustees and other fiduciaries in all facets of trust administration, interpretation and litigation. Mr. Titus has had a diversified career. Prior to attending George Washington University Law School Mr. Titus was a tax accountant with Price Waterhouse where he represented national and international companies in all phases of tax planning and compliance. After law school, he joined the United States Navy as a judge advocate representing sailors and Marines in trial and appellate litigation before the U.S. Supreme Court, united States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, United States Navy-Marine Corps Court of Military Review and courts-marital. After leaving the Navy, Mr. Titus practiced with Carr Goodson Lee & Warner, a mid-sized Washington D.C. firm, the Washington, D.C. office of Powell Goldstein Frazier & Murphy LLP, a large Atlanta based firm and in solo practice in the practice areas described above as well as all phases of civil trial and appellate litigation. Mr. Titus graduated from Cedarville University where he received a B.A. in business and accounting, with honors. He received his law degree, with honors from The George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C. Mr. Titus is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Columbia and the State of Maryland and is also a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio-inactive).
